Every B.P. de Silva unfolds with a story, and that story begins with inspiration.
As a design house, we believe that inspiration can strike at any moment. A place that reveals parts of us we had yet to discover. The way the light hits something at the perfect time. A song that will remind one of a treasured moment for years to come. A letter, written with the most precious sentiments. A person that irrevocably became a part of who we are.
From these moments, design sparks begin, and some lead to single editions or High Jewellery, whilst others become ideas for a whole line of fine jewellery. Each jewel is a quiet companion, born of what moves us and meant to be held close.

Mother Nature & Organic Beauty
The Lotus Collection: Inspired by organic curves of its namesake flora.
The lotus, Sri Lanka’s national flower, rises from the island where our Founder was born. Its bloom, and gentle curves gave rise to the forms you’ll see in our Lotus Collection designs. Representing grace and beauty, modern brides are drawn to their meaning and ability to shine in quiet strength.
The Marquise Mist Collection’s delicate silhouette highlights its Diamond arrangement’s shine.
Our Marquise Mist Collection evokes femininity and freedom, and honours the time taken for magic to bloom – as a florist takes the time to create bouquets that tell stories of precious moments.

A Time & Place
Galle, Sri Lanka.
Galle is widely recognised for its historic significance and beautiful coasts. It is also the city our Founder was born in, and even generations later, this beautiful city in Sri Lanka serves to inspire our brand.
Our Galle Lights Collection evolves and expands with the moments spent there; the shimmer of diamonds like beams on water, the subtle colours of our chosen blue gemstones such as Sapphires, Aquamarines, and Tanzanites recall shifting skies and ocean hues. Romantic Morganite a reminder of flickering dusk light.

Heritage & Home
B.P. de Silva Atelier on High Street, founded in 1872.
From its launch in 2022, the High Street Collection has captured the hearts of the B.P. de Silva community, especially those that call Singapore home. Perhaps its Peranakan-esque motif, inspired by our first shophouse atelier along High Street, is a widely recognised icon of the lion city.

The Art Deco Era & The Roaring Twenties (aka The Jazz Age)
Art Deco, short for the French term, Art Decoratifs, is a movement in the decorative arts and architecture that originated in the 1920s and developed into a major style in western Europe and the United States during the 1930s. Notable features of this design style are geometric pairings, streamlined shapes and motifs, and high quality craftsmanship.
