The Jazz Age Collection:
Inspired by the Roaring 20’s and New York City,
the Jazz Capital of the World

Geometry in motion, colour in light. The Jazz Age Collection celebrates the art of Diamonds and coloured gemstones, crafted to express confidence, connection, and enduring elegance.

The Jazz Age was a time when connection and collaboration birthed more than art, it brought forth belonging. It was liberation made visible: women daring to define themselves beyond expectation, embracing a new rhythm of life, artists daring to improvise, and cities daring to dream in bold new shapes.

That same spirit lives in this collection. The Jazz Age Collection is not jewellery as ornament alone, but as rhythm, soulful, expressive, and full of substance. Each piece carries the tempo of Art Deco design, its geometry and visual rhythm distilled into gold and gemstone, celebrating the courage to express, to create, and to connect.

Designing in, and with Rhythm

For our design team, jazz became more than an inspiration; it became a language of design. Improvisational yet deliberate, fluid yet balanced. In the Jazz Age Collection, they interpret geometry and movement through different cuts of gemstones and  diamonds, arranged like notes in a melody, with a centre stone that draws the eye like a soloist under soft light.

B.P. de Silva’s Jazz Age rings feature a rare, natural Padparadscha Sapphire as their centre stone.

“In New York especially, the rhythm of jazz was mirrored in the rhythm of the city itself, the bold geometry of Art Deco architecture rising against the skyline, its visual tempo both strong and graceful,
controlled yet alive.”

Each piece conveys a sense of motion, a rhythm that seems almost visible.

The Chrysler Building, with its soaring arcs and radiant crown, embodied that duality: power and understated grace. The balance of geometry has inspired many art forms in the design world, including B.P.’s Jazz Age collection.

With each keepsake in the Jazz Age Collection (of which, will see a full launch this October – stay tuned!), the forms were each incredibly important. Every cut and shape is considered, and every detail not only accentuates the other but creates a balanced visual harmony, inspired by the Art Deco design movement.

The Jazz Age New York New York Ring, one of B.P. de Silva’s most iconic silhouettes, feature a custom hexagon cut centrepiece, haloed by a twinkling array of mixed-cut Diamonds and flanked by fine shield-cut Diamonds on each side. No detail is spared, even the weaving lines on its band also bring a visual crescendo towards the centre:
